Movies, bronchitis and facebook... Oh MY

Hi guys,

Well I'm back again. Thought I was a goner didn't ya? Well the 1 person following my exploits. ;) Anyways I'm here to talk on something of importance.

As you all know I do a lot of experimenting in life. I like to find challenges and beat them. Two reasons I love programming and movies. I watch what I create come to life, and both are a challenge. Over the last bit I have had bronchitis, which means I'm sick and my brain turns to oatmeal! Hence no real progress on any of the aforementioned projects. They are far from abandoned and I am playing with blender so when the time comes, the sets will be ready.

So where does facebook come in you ask? Simple, while being sick and unable to think I checked out facebook and found something that inspired me. I will soon be making a movie to pass around and posting it for my friends.

So what am I yammering about?

SAVE THE PLANET ONE APP AT A TIME

A group I started 5 days ago, it is a group designed to help people find and use apps that actually donate money to charities. There are millions of users on facebook. If each person did one app a day the results would be mind staggering! Let alone if the people who played games there found the ones like SAVE THE EARTH they could play those and save the rainforest at the same time.

I am researching all these apps and posting the ones that help. There are games, gardens, CLICK A DAY which donates for every time a person clicks a link. Once per day. 1 sec and it helps charities like wildlife, environment, people, feeding the hungry. There is a post for each app with a description so you can look it over before you try it.

We are currently growing at a rate of 100 people per day. That's right we are on day 5 and it's now 6:00pm we are at 475 people. Hopefully 25 more will join this evening. So please at least check it out.
